They met while attending Salisbury University. There’s no memory of the exact moment they met, it was just something that slowly happened over time and eventually Nicole couldn’t wait any longer. This crush was too much and he was taking too long, so she took a chance and asked Matt out on their first date. The rest as they say is history! I met up with Matt and Nicole at this hidden wooden spot down by Old Ellicott City that I recently found. We grabbed some very important shots with their fur baby there – have I said it before? Dogs need to be included in any and all engagement portraits!! They’re so much fun! After some wooded doggie fun, we headed to Main Street Old Ellicott City and wandered around there for a little bit. It’s wonderful being able to head back down there and capture it’s beauty.

Nicky and Matt met while attending Salisbury University. They were both accounting majors and met in class one semester. Shortly thereafter they were living in the same building and as they became closer friends, Nicky’s crush grew. It got to the point where she couldn’t wait any longer for Matt to ask her out and she took things into her own hands and asked him. Their Kurtz’s Beach Wedding fell on the exact same day of their Five year anniversary, September 29th. It was a wonderful day full of love, laughter and some really amazing dance moves!
