This year I celebrated five years of business! I decided that I couldn’t just let that anniversary pass by, that I needed to celebrate in some way. So for a week, I gave away some goodies – a Dunkin gift card, some cookies & brownies from WinniE’s Bakery and Once Upon A Crumb, credit to wedding invitations from Silver Orchard Creative, free bridal makeup with Fleurt Beauty Company and a free portrait session to be used this year. I’d say it was a good give away. Full of things from some of my favorite women in this industry that I’m in. From women owned companies that I believe in. But anyways, Jess was the winner of my giveaway. The free portrait session for this year. At the time, she and her boyfriend, Sean, we’re just that. Boyfriend and Girlfriend. Jess knew, well really hoped, that a ring would show up soon and so she wanted to wait until it did to do pictures. A few months later, she reached out! While on vacation, exploring the mid west, Sean got down on one knee on a mountain and proposed. It was captured by some girls who happened to be on the mountain with them. Sean just randomly asked them to take a picture of him and Jess together and these very sweet girls said yes and then just kept shooting as he got down on one knee. Jess said their reactions seemed more excited about the whole adventure than hers! So I met the two of them at the place where it all began for them, Towson University. That’s where they met years ago. It was a beautiful fall evening, just the right temperature for a Towson University Engagement Portraits session. Jess and Sean will be married in 2020!
