I love when couples choose locations for their engagement portraits that have a special meaning to them. Maria & Jason did exactly that. Their first date started at Comet Ping Pong in downtown DC – they enjoyed some pizza and of course what I’m sure was some pretty amazing conversation. Good enough conversation to move on from pizza to trivia night at Politics & Prose. So we followed the same pattern, kind of. We spent time at Comet playing some ping pong and then enjoyed some book reading and coffee at Politics & Prose. They also wanted just some simple outdoor portraits so we headed over to Rock Creek Park. It was a blast exploring some parts of Washington DC with Maria & Jason, parts I’ve never heard of let alone been to.
