You've thoroughly combed through my website, blog and Instagram feed and you like what you see. So the next step is sending me an email and I'll send over all the details to answer all your questions.
A signed contract by you both and a non-refundable retainer will officially reserve you on my calendar for your due date month. Once reserved, I'll send over a few goodies to help you prepare for the session.
Once the baby has arrived, shoot me an email and we'll start the scheduling conversation about the best day and time for me to come over to your home for the session.
Typically an hour but booked for up to two hours, we'll spend sometime in your home (typically nursery, living room, master bedroom) snuggling baby and capturing their absolute perfectness!
You can expect your photos to be delivered via an online gallery within about six to eight weeks of your wedding. At that time, I'll also send over details about preserving your images through prints and albums.
It really depends on you–but the typical time is when you’re the biggest but not super close to due date so that we don’t miss the pictures because they decide to come a little early. My suggestion is between 7 1/2 to 8 months.
Because of the way I pose the newborns, pretty much always in mom and dad's arms, I don't require your newborn to be just a few days old like many newborn photographers. In fact, since my focus is really more on motherhood, it's really important that Mom has some time to heal and feel more like herself after birth. I encourage you to plan for scheduling our session around the two week mark (3 weeks for c-section). By having the session around the two week mark, mom tends to be more excited about the session than she is stressed.
A signed contract and a non-refundable retainer worth half the total cost of the session(s).
All of my sessions are typically around an hour or so depending on the needs of the infant. I like to keep these sessions relaxed and comfortable, nothing forced. We take our time but you won’t spend your entire day being photographed. I won’t leave until I (and you) are satisfied that we have captured all that is desired to be captured.
No. They are not. The $450 covers the time to photograph & edit your portraits. It also includes the print release rights to the digital files for you to use for personal use.
Typically a portrait session delivers about 75-150 images. Factors that increase or decrease these numbers are the amount of different family combinations you’d like and outfit changes.
