When deciding on a location for their engagement portraits, Freddy and Melanie wanted to choose a spot that had meaning to them. Something that I recommend everyone attempts to do. They had a few spots in mind but kept coming back to a favorite of theirs, downtown Annapolis. Often the two of them would go downtown for date night. More specifically to grab some of Annapolis scrumptious ice cream. Being that Annapolis can get so crazy busy in the evenings, a sunrise timeframe was selected to really get the best use of the space and have less crowds to deal with. A decision that worked out really well! The sunlight in these images are gorgeous!!

This post is a little extra special because it’s helping me (Meghan) make an announcement about the future of Meghan Elizabeth Photography. I did not take these portraits of Melanie and Freddy! Yes you read that right, I did NOT take these pictures. So if I didn’t take them, why am I blogging them? I’m happy to say that Meghan Elizabeth Photography is launching a new associate photographer program. This means that if I’m booked for your wedding day or if my pricing is outside of your budget, I have some other ladies who I have worked with, mentored and completely trust to send in my place to capture your wedding day and engagement portraits.

Angel captured these stunning images of Melanie and Freddy and will be the lead photographer for their wedding day! I’ll have to blog more about Angel and introduce her to you guys but in the meantime, let’s focus back of this incredibly sweet couple. Who as Freddy said “I’ll do anything to make Melanie happy!”
