They were at Chart House in Annapolis together, Andrew knew he was being set up. Heather knew she was being set up. About an hour into standing around waiting for him to make a move, Heather almost gave up. But fortunately, Andrew came up, “So I hear you have cats?” As they sat on the bench in the shade casted by a big beautiful tree at Historic London Town Gardens, Heather joked how romantic of a pick up line it was but also remarked “I guess it was good enough cause here we are.” Despite taking an hour to break the ice, Heather’s first impression of Andrew was that he was polite, caring and genuine. Heather’s dream was for them to be married at this gorgeous on the water venue in Edgewater, but unfortunately they had no more dates in the year available. So they decided that Historic London Town and Gardens Engagement portraits would be the next best thing. Gunner, their sweet black lab, joined us for a few energetic photo ops before heading back to the a/c in the car where he took a nap, he had the right idea.
Heather and Andrew, I can’t wait for your October wedding. I know it’s not looking exactly as we had all originally planned for it to look but the day is going to be perfect. Thank you for asking me to capture all these special and important moments and for both agreeing that I was the perfect fit. I’m so thankful you two disagreed on so many other photographers, it makes me feel even more special that I was the chosen one 🙂
