Shortly after they were engaged and they began the process of wedding planning, they spent weeks searching for the perfect wedding venue. They live in Allentown, Pennsylvania and desired to be married at their home church there in town. It was natural to then look for venues near the church, however, nothing they looked at felt right. That’s when CJ’s mom made the suggestion, “why don’t you just look at the venue your dad and I were married at?” So they drove up to New Jersey to explore a venue very near and dear to her family’s history. As soon as they walked in, CJ knew she had found it. She and Nick immediately began planning their Nanina’s In the Park Wedding! I met the two of them at the Hyatt House in Allentown for their getting ready portraits and followed them to their home church, St. Thomas More Church where they said their “I dos”. Immediately following the ceremony, everyone jumped in their cars and made the hour and half drive up north to celebrate and eat some of the best wedding spread their entire wedding guest list had ever experienced. From the moment you walked in until the moment you left, you were fed. And fed well! But all that food, was only matched by the level of party that their guests brought to the dance floor and even more so matched by the genuine kind nature of CJ and Nick. These two are LOVED by their people and it’s evident by the fact that their 170 plus guest list didn’t bat an eye at driving two hours between ceremony and reception.
CJ and Nick, Congratulations! Thank you so much for finding me and asking me to join you on your wedding day adventure. I had an absolute blast spending the day with you and being able to capture and tell a piece of your love story. May you both be blessed with a lifetime of love, laughter and happily ever after and then some. Congratulations!!
