A Windy Yet Beautiful Fall Wedding at Springfield Manor: Meagan and Cam’s Love Story

Meagan and Cam’s wedding at Springfield Manor in Thurmont, Maryland, was the perfect blend of romance, laughter, and the unexpected twists that make a wedding day so memorable. On an incredibly windy yet beautifully sunny fall day, the couple embraced every moment, even as the gusts threatened to steal Meagan’s veil. With a heartfelt ceremony at Coffman Chapel at Hood College and a love story that started with an unexpected Tinder match, their day was a true testament to fate and connection.

Their journey began in the most modern way—through a dating app. While neither Meagan nor Cam were particularly fond of online dating, fate had other plans. Cam was the only person Meagan ever met in person from the app, and their first date in Old Ellicott City included an adorable third wheel—Cam’s youngest sister, Bella—who joined them for pizza and ice cream. That first meeting set the foundation for a love story that would eventually lead to this incredible wedding day.

Meagan and Cam chose to do a first look for their Fall Wedding at Springfield Manor, allowing them to share a quiet, intimate moment before the whirlwind of the day truly began. As they stood together, the strong autumn wind swirled around them, adding an element of adventure to their already emotional moment. Cam’s expression when he saw Meagan for the first time was pure love and admiration.

Their ceremony at Coffman Chapel was filled with heartfelt vows and meaningful moments, witnessed by their closest family and friends. After saying “I do,” they returned to Springfield Manor, where the golden fall sunlight illuminated the venue’s stunning landscape. The wind may have been relentless at times—so much so that we had to pause portraits to keep Meagan’s hair from becoming a windswept masterpiece—but it only added to the beauty and authenticity of their day.

The reception at Springfield Manor was a joyous celebration, filled with laughter, emotional toasts, and plenty of dancing. As the evening settled in, the wind finally calmed, leaving behind a crisp autumn night perfect for celebrating the love that brought Meagan and Cam together.

Their wedding day was a reminder that the best moments aren’t always the perfectly planned ones—it’s the unexpected gusts of wind, the shared glances, and the laughter that make a day truly unforgettable. It was an honor to capture Meagan and Cam’s wedding and preserve the beautiful, windswept magic of their love story.
