These two are two of the sweetest and most genuine people you will ever meet. It’s evident by the way they speak to each other, their family and friends and how those family and friends talk of them. They are loved beyond words and love others in just the same way. They planned for a crisp, sun-kissed October wedding surrounded by the stunning gardens of the Antrim 1844 Country House Hotel in Taneytown, Maryland. However, Hurricane Joaquin had different plans for their wedding and unfortunately there is just no reasoning with that guy. So instead of an outdoor garden wedding, Chris & Larissa were blessed with an indoor wedding. But don’t let me make you think that their wedding was any less beautiful. Honestly, I think because of it, it was even more so. Vendors, family, friends, bridal party – had to fight the weather, sideways pouring rain, and cold winds. But not a single person had a second thought about it. Everyone worked the day, partied, and celebrated just like they would’ve if the sun was out and the sky was blue. The day was beautiful! The details were perfection. The staff at the Antrim was amazing. The guests partied and danced the night away. But most importantly, Chris & Larissa got married!
Antrim 1844 is a STUNNING venue!! Just perfect!
Larissa had two maids of honor 🙂
First look with Dad! Love these!!
This girl is STUNNING!!!
I love that we had a few extra minutes to get more than the normal amount of bridals.
The groom’s reaction to seeing his bride for the first time is one of my favorite things – some try to hold back the tears. While others just let it happen. Chris just let it happen and I love how genuine that is. He was definitely hit with cupid’s arrow. So so sweet! (Thanks for my 2nd, Eddie, for capturing this shot of Chris!)
Then there’s Larissa – she is so excited! I love her face as her dad walks her down the aisle to meet her future husband. Pure excitement!
This bridal party really looked good!! I do love grey and navy blue together – so classic.
Thanks to Eddie for capturing the shot of the guys on the left.
They’re just adorable together!
A huge huge thank you to my second shooter, Eddie for capturing this shot! I’m totally in love with it!!!
Again, thank you to Eddie for grabbing the shots of the reception hall while I was grabbing the family formals before cocktail hour finished and the guests came in and grabbed their seats.
A big shout out to the always talented, Elise of Winnie’s Bakery for these scrumptious and beautiful cupcakes and cutting cake! She also did the desserts for Heidi & David’s wedding back in May. I love getting to work with some of the same vendors over and over again.
I love these favors! “Chris & Larissa, Jam packed with Love”.
Toasts upon toasts! Such a true reflection of the love this couple gives out daily to the people in their lives – that four people (actually was 5 – Chris’ brother stood up later) can stand up and just love all over them.
After the toast, Chris got up and gave a quick little “thank you” speech. As the DJ said, “Chris, I’ve been doing this for many years. In all those years, I’ve heard many groom’s speeches and yours. Yours was the most genuine, heart felt one I have ever heard.” I second the DJ’s words on that one!
Let the partying begin! And oh boy did they party!!
Also a big huge shout out to the incredible DJ – Mark from Great Scott Productions. He & Scott (who DJ’d my wedding) are INCREDIBLE!! Super sweet guys. Very talented. Know exactly what music to play and when to play it! Awesome awesome guys – if you’re on the hunt for a DJ, these two are your guys!! I have the advantage of raving about them from not only a professional working relationship but also from a brides perspective. Can’t love on them enough!!
Congrats you two!!! I loved spending the day with you!!!
