Pulling into the venue for this incredible Big Cork Winery wedding, I had a feeling the day was going to be amazing. The sky was blue, the grounds of property were manicured and as I pulled up to the Big House where Jess and girls were getting ready I just knew it would be a good day! Jess was getting her make up done and was calm as can be. She was excited the day was finally here and couldn’t wait to meet Rob for their first look. They were both so excited to see each other at the first look. As they read their own vows to each other during this time. Generally I don’t pay attention to what a bride/groom is saying but I remember hearing Rob say, “Oh my vows are wayyy longer than yours.” I absolutely love it when the groom feels really good about his vows before he even starts reading. Such a sweet moment for each couple when they have this time together.
Later, it was time for the ceremony, a very good friend from college officiated and he was so perfectly fit for this role. He had the best jokes about Jessica and Rob. Throughout the ceremony, talking about the secret proposal mission. He continued goals like, getting Jessica off her parents family cell phone plan and Rob off his cricket phone plan had everyone laughing out loud. Father Daniel, who has been a part of the Manning family celebrations for the last four decades. He was very happy to be there blessing Rob & Jess’ marriage. He even gave them both a squeeze on the cheek before sitting back down. The ceremony was short and sweet, filled with so much love and happiness. Afterwards we had just enough time for “just married” photos in the vineyard before a light, chilly rain started. Later it was off to cocktail hour for our newlyweds!
