I met Kaylee and Jeff in the fall for their Blue Mountain Vineyards Engagement Portraits. They were actually my last session before Lillian arrived. So naturally, things were a little crazy and blogging their portraits never happened (along with a whole slew of other sessions and weddings). However, as I begin to catch up on blogging, I’ve promised myself that all engagement sessions need to be blogged before the couple gets married! So for Kaylee and Jeff, why not publish their blog post for their ACTUAL wedding day! The two met when they were seven years old and were childhood friends up until they turned seventeen and realized that they saw each other differently. They took a chance, worked through college in a long distance relationship and clearly have come out stronger and happier than ever! After spending roughly an hour with these two, my cheeks literally hurt! Jeff is by far one of the funniest guys I’ve photographed…maybe even met. Something that was a massive draw for Kaylee and is still something she loves about him.
Congratulations you two! I’m so excited to see you this afternoon and get to capture your wedding day. It’s going to be absolutely stunning and if these engagement portraits are any indication of how your portraits today are going to go…I’m not going to want to let you back into your reception. But I will, promise!
