You know you’ve found your style in photography when you as the photographer can’t seem to stop staring at the images. Guys – I think this is one of those moments. I seriously can not stop staring at this Centennial Park Engagement Photography session! Every piece of it is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G and I hope that you all will agree with me.
I met Maggie through her mom, Cheryl. Cheryl is a Kindergarten Paraeducator at Rockburn- the school that my mom has worked at for something like 14 years now and the school that I worked at about 3 years ago…wow 3 years, still feels like yesterday. Anyways…so last year when Maggie got engaged to Charles – Cheryl called me. I knew right from the start that I had to book these guys.
Well…fast forward a year to April and we realized that we still hadn’t done their engagement session and with the wedding quickly approaching, we needed to get the date on the calendar. We finally found a date and met up at the Park…of course when we set the date we didn’t think about the fact that it was Memorial Day weekend and that Centennial Park would be PACKED! But honestly, the fact that it was swarming with people and that we couldn’t use the typical spots without getting mobs of people in them, really worked to our advantage. We had to get more creative and oh boy am I glad we did. We found some off the beaten path spots…(minus the pier…we had to ask a couple to move- they were very sweet about it)…which were BEAUTIFUL.
So Maggie & Charles met through a mutual friend who introduced them and they’ve been dating ever since. Both of them are very laid back and relaxed-I’ve assumably spent more time with Maggie than I have Charles, so I know her a little bit better but have enjoyed and continue to enjoy getting to know Charles as the wedding day approaches. They’re both awesome people and there is no question why they love each other.
Their wedding is in two very short weeks and after their incredible modeling skills that they showed me during their engagement session, I am a million times even more excited for their wedding than I already was. And let me tell you, I already am so very excited for their wedding. It’s going to be gorgeous!!
Well you two, enjoy the last two weeks of the “single” life. Relax and don’t stress too much over the last minute details. It’s going to be amazing!
Meet our little friend…he was not at all scared of us. Or the camera, instead he kind of posed for me!
When you make a comment about her smolder that’s in the last shot…you get a laugh like this shot 😀
