It was a pretty yucky day, especially for a walk around Cromwell Valley Park. But despite the mist, Tony kept insisting that they go for this walk. Reluctantly Lauren agreed and off they went. Just a few short minutes into their rainy cloudy April 1st walk, Tony got down on one knee and popped the question. He thought being that it was April 1st popping the question was extra fun. Fortunately Lauren got it the “joke” and said yes!
When choosing a location for their engagement portraits, there was really no question where to go. Cromwell Valley Park was the most perfect choice. They visit the park frequently for walks and miniature hikes. Obviously they got engaged there. So why not capture this season of their lives there. Their Cromwell Valley Park Engagement Portraits weren’t blessed with a ton of golden sun, it was overcast and slightly chilly but the three of us had a blast wandering around the park. We were headed for the very last spot to grab a few more portraits when Lauren stepped in a massive mud puddle disgused as grass. Fortunately we had captured plenty of images prior to that and so her muddy jeans and shoes didn’t cause major problems, we just ended the shoot there and sent them to go grab some dinner! These two will be married in a very few short weeks in May and I can’t wait!
