While stationed in Emerald Isle, North Carolina in the Marine Corps, Lizzy live in the “girls house” which was located just a few short blocks from the “guys house”. What originally started as big group hangouts, quickly turned into smaller group hangouts having “family dinners” and watching Game of Thrones. Before they knew it they were #notdating as all their friends were calling it to make fun of them. It wasn’t long until they both knew this was something special but it wasn’t until Brandon was deployed and they realized how excited they would get to wake up and see an email on their phone from the other one which solidified how much they missed each other, that they knew this was really it. Knowing this was it, Brandon put proposal plans into place. What Lizzy thought was a trip to Disney to celebrate Brandon’s birthday, actually turned into quite the surprise for her. The entire trip, he spent secretly planning the proposal. With a wonderful dinner in downtown Disney, Lizzy woke up the next morning in their hotel room to a proposal, breakfast on the balcony and a full day at the Parks. It wasn’t long until the wedding planning process began and I got to meet these two for their Federal Hill summer engagement portraits! They’re currently based out in California, but we were able to squeeze their Baltimore engagement portraits in while they were in town for their engagement party. Spending time with these two was nothing short of a blast! I walked away with very sore cheeks from all our laughing. I can not wait for their Black Walnut Point Inn Wedding in June. It’s going to be incredible!
