Jillian and Joe’s Four Seasons Wedding in Baltimore fell on the most gorgeous summer day this year! July 7th, you might remember it fondly with its 70-degree temperature, no humidity, warm sun and touches of cool breezes. They got ready at the luxury hotel in Baltimore before heading to St. Mary’s of Annapolis Church where they tied the knot. After the ceremony, we grabbed some group portraits in the gardens behind the church and then headed back to Baltimore for some more portraits by the water and their reception. I am so excited about the amount of time Jillian and Joe let me build into their timeline for portraits. We were able to capture so many portraits in so many different locations and I’m sure they absolutely loved having the time to just be together on what can normally be a whirlwind of a day.
One of my favorite things about the day was seeing the way Joe looks at Jillian! All day, in little moments Christine and I talked about how we would catch Joe just admiring his bride. When I saw Joe before the ceremony, I asked how he was doing. “Anxious, just ready to see that pretty lady walk down the aisle. I’ll probably lose it.” These two absolutely adore each other and you can see it. There is no question of it from the outside looking in. Jillian and Joe, I pray you both never lose that feeling and instead those feelings of adoration increase with years and years of marriage. Congratulations you two and thank you so much for having us! It was a true honor!!

How awesome is the ring bearer?! I mean c’mon – entering the reception with a flip!! Oh and mind you, he did two flips consecutively!!
After we got the party started, we headed out for some sunset portraits on the pool deck! I’m not kidding when I say I’m so happy with the amount of time they gave me for portraits!!
I love these!! They feel so fairy tale to me!!
To bring some of Jillian’s polish heritage into the wedding, they decided to follow along with a polish tradition. The bride & groom get hats & necklaces with these little baby figurines. Then all the family gets up, pays the person with the apron and dances with the bride or groom or both. At the end, the groom has to pay for his bride (Joe choose his whole wallet and cell phone to pay for Jillian) and they can run off together. However, Joe just picked Jillian up and ran off with her.
Wonderful!! Great wedding!!
These are absolutely beautiful!!! Congratulations again, Jillian and Joe!
