Kyle grew up in Howard County, where he attended Howard High and became good friends with this girl Liz & her boyfriend Andy. Kyle went off to James Madison University and then got a job in New York City. Julie grew up in Howard County, got her teaching degree from Towson where she became very good friends with Liz and then moved to New York City. They ended up living minutes from each other but never once crossed paths. Liz & Andy got married, Kyle was a groomsman & Julie was a bridesmaid. Liz had been trying to set them up for a while but it wasn’t until her wedding that either of them had any interest in meeting. The rest as they say is history! Now in the process of planning their Springfield Manor Wedding for next year, they decided they wanted their engagement portraits in New York City! So the hubby and I headed up to visit them – we were in the city for less than 24 hours. It was a whirlwind of a trip but oh my gosh so so worth it!! It was a blast and the images are AMAZING!!! We hit up Lower Manhattan for a sunset session and then the next morning we headed to Central Park. There’s so many shots that I want to share, so I’m dividing it up into two blog posts, one this morning & one this evening! So make sure to come back and see part two of these Lower Manhattan Engagement Portraits.
