They wanted to get married somewhere tropical. They began the planning process and slowly this destination wedding was becoming more and more expensive. Becoming more and more involved and stressful. Family members were dropping out due to the expense of travel and quickly they decided this tropical destination wedding wasn’t what they wanted. It wasn’t what they expected or saw for their wedding. They wanted simple and elegant. They wanted to be surrounded by their friends and family & they just wouldn’t happen if they stuck with this current plan. But yet, they didn’t want to budge on getting married this year. So they found a venue that still had a 2016 wedding date available, The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore! The catch?! They had exactly 3 months to plan the entire thing, so they did it! They rocked that planning and put together this entire stunning wedding together in three months!! I’m impressed and you should be too.
Jessica & Chad’s The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore Wedding was on an incredibly hot day in August, so hot the ceremony was shortened to about 10 minutes – just enough time to say their vows, exchange rings and kiss! It was detailed with blush pink, mint and khaki. It featured animal cracker take aways and wildflower centerpieces. But most importantly the day featured their friends and family. Oh and a penguin! Yes a penguin – Hope the Penguin!
