The rain was coming down hard and heavy. One of those storms you get soaked running from your car 5 feet from your house. Despite the buckets of rain, Sally still headed out to Virtue Feed & Grain in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia. She had plans to meet up with a friend, knowing that there would be other people there as well. One of the other people was Kevin. At first meeting he didn’t show his best colors and as a result, Sally wasn’t his biggest fan. But after a few more meetings, Sally began to see the real Kevin and the falling for him began. Now they’re planning their 2018 Torpedo Factory Wedding & felt there was no better spot for their engagement portraits than the spot they met & the spot they’ll get married. We unfortunately had to reschedule their session a few times, we kept picking dates that ended up falling on days with torrential down pour. I’m sensing a pattern here for these two (praying things will change for the wedding day!) But fortunately we finally got a day with perfectly blue skies and warm sun. Unfortunately the temperature was super low and the wind was rough! They braved the cold and rocked their portraits!! I am so excited to be working with these two and can’t wait for their wedding next year.
