While we know rain on a wedding day is good luck, I’d like to believe it’s good luck for engagement portraits too. Johnna and Alex’s rainy engagement portraits at Nick’s Fish House in Baltimore were straight from a romantic movie. There was a little bit of rain but not enough to dampen their joy and excitement for the future! These cuties were so full of love and excitement, it was such a blast working together. Johnna and Alex met at college through a mutual friend. At the time they had both gotten out of longer relationships and weren’t ready to date again. But they stayed in touch. Years of keeping in touch and talking led to more and 5 years later they began dating! Johnna mentioned when they finally decided to meet up and give it a shot, they met up at Nick’s Fish House. So it only made sense to have their engagement portraits here years later!
They are absolutely adorable together and have a little one at home too. Alex proposed to Johnna during their gender reveal for their baby. Handing her a onesie that read, “Mommy, will you marry my Daddy?” Johnna didn’t see what was on it at first and just thought he was handing her a onesie from the day’s festivities! Once she realized what it said she of course said yes!
