Did you know rain on your wedding day is good luck? In Hindu tradition, it is believed that rain on your wedding day means your marriage will last. Also, you’ll be blessed with children. When I saw the rainy forecast ahead for Kelly and Corey’s wedding I knew emotions would be high but it was the absolute best day. Their rainy Lodges at Gettysburg wedding day were filled with so much love and incredible decorations with bohemian-inspired elements. It was such a gorgeous day. We were able to dodge the rain and get some incredible moments captured for years to come. Let’s dive in!

A Misty First Look

Kelly and Corey planned for a private first look outdoors which we were a little nervous about given the weather. However it was perfect, the mist provided an awesome element to the experience and we were able to make it happen. The pair were both filled with smiles and so much excitement for the upcoming wedding ceremony. Kelly and Corey also exchanged gifts that brought Kelly to tears, it was such a special way to start their wedding day.

Rainy Lodges at Gettysburg Wedding Ceremony + Reception

After the couple’s intimate first look it was time to get them ready for their indoor wedding ceremony. Surrounded by friends and family the couple proclaimed their love for one another while promising each other forever. Their ceremony was filled with laughter, emotion, and so much excitement for their future together.

Throughout their wedding were beautiful and intentional decorations that truly highlighted their relationship and brought a little bit of sunshine to their rainy wedding day. There were beautiful pampas grass arrangements, rust-colored decor and so many unique touches that made for a gorgeous wedding reception. Once the couple were married, it was time to party! Guests were invited for dinner and dancing and later sent the couple off with a sparkler exit. Their wedding day was breathtakingly beautiful!
