In highschool, she had a little school girl crush on him. They didn’t talk. They didn’t run in the same circles. He was just cute from a distance. Fast forward a few years, Casey’s living in New York City & Dane was back here in Maryland. Casey had a “you might know” notification on Facebook and it was Dane, she went with a gut feeling & direct messaged him “Hey”. Soon their Facebook messages became Face Time conversations and ultimately resulted in living on Face Time – Casey would be out with friends at the bar & there would be Dane set up on Face Time resting against the wall the table was attached too. & that happened on multiple occasions. They began to wonder, where was this going? We can’t stand being apart from each other and yet we live 190 miles apart from each other. They took the plunge, Casey moved in with Dane & a few months later he proposed on Christmas morning!

In highschool, Casey and I were best friends. There are way way too many stories & too many insides jokes! I remember that little school girl crush she had on Dane. I also remember all the other loves & heartaches she’s  endured over the years. We arrived at Sandy Point State Park for their engagement portraits, watching Casey light up while simply just holding his hand brought me such happiness. He makes her so incredibly happy and I can see she does the same for him. They required absolutely no coaching during their session, they just fell right into each other. Laughing and joking, enjoying quiet moments. Selecting images to share with you guys has been incredibly difficult because every single one is gorgeous & more importantly full of emotion & love.
