The day started in torrential downpour, which pushed the should be outdoor ceremony into the reception at for Joanne and Lee’s spring wedding at The Lodges at Gettysburg. By the time the ceremony started, the sun had come out and was streaming through the windows. Before continuing on to answer her own question, Rachael of Ceremony by Rachael  posed the question, “What is marriage?” It’s something she’s done multiple times at multiple different ceremonies. However, at Joanne and Lee’s spring wedding at The Lodges at Gettysburg, despite it being a hypothetical question, Rachael received an answer. Without skipping a beat, Lee responded, “A chance at a better tax break.” Lee is a charismatic, kind and incredibly quick on his feet with some good humor. The entire room burst into laughter. Rachael responded with agreement and buckled over in laughter. Despite the day being forecasted to rain all day, the sun really showed up for our first wedding of the season. It gave Joanne and Lee the opportunity for an absolutely stunning wedding day. The perfect temperatures, beautiful sun, the right amount of clouds. The day was not only beautiful with weather but was also beautiful with sentiment and moments between the two of them and their family and friends.

Joanne and Lee, thank you and congratulations! It really has been wonderful working with the two you, you have kept me laughing! I look forward to our next session. Congratulations and I wish you two a lifetime full of love!
