The sun beat down as we stood under the huge maple tree on the lawn of Springfield Manor. Kyle faced the mountains in the distance as Julie who was dressed in her Maggie Sottero dress & Kate Spade sneakers walked up the sidewalk turning onto the grass behind him. As she got closer you could see her holding back the tears. She tapped him on the shoulder and as he turned to see his bride for the first time, Julie burst into tears & a huge smile came across Kyle’s face. They immediately embraced, kissed and started slow dancing right there. Kyle & Julie’s Springfield Manor Winery, Distillery & Brewery Wedding was one for the record books.

I’ve grown up with Kyle. We became friends in the 5th grade when I started at a new school. As we got older and our mothers became best friends, they joked (or more so decided) that if Kyle & I were not married by the age of 30, he and I would marry each other. But now, I think we all agree that he and I have married exactly who God wanted us to marry! Seeing one of my oldest friends look at, love on and vow his love to this gorgeous girl was a tear-jerking moment. But to be able to capture it for them was a humbling moment. I’ve gotten to know Julie over the past 6 years as she & Kyle have been dating. We’ve only spent a few times together being that they live in New York we don’t see each other often, but from the moment I met her, I loved her instantly and knew immediately she was the best fit for Kyle.

Their wedding day was packed full of incredible moments. A Day full of highlights – so many I didn’t know where to start with this blog. But I’m sure the most loved by all the guests and vendors alike was their first dance. I’m hoping you’ll be able to guess what choreographed dance they performed by looking at the pictures…but if not I’ll give you a hint, “nobody put Julie in a corner.”

Kyle & Julie, I can’t thank you both enough for trusting me with your day. For making sure I was still as much of a guest at your wedding as I was a vendor so that I could enjoy, celebrate and support your marriage from the start. I love you both!!! Congratulations again!
