We scheduled their engagement portraits for 4 days before their wedding, why do you ask? Clays in the air force and was stationed in England. The plan was for them to be there right up to the wedding with no trips home. It was that or no engagement session at all. Since we all know the value of an engagement session, we definitely didn’t want to miss it. Just a few hours before our scheduled meet time, the forecast changed and was calling for rain. After some text exchange it was decided, we were going to go for it! Well as you can see, it poured for Lindsey & Clay’s Strausstown engagement portraits. It even hailed. We had a few minutes here and there in between the rain to run out and grab a few shots. But mostly, we just got to visit with each other and get to know each other before their big day. Despite the rain, we got some really gorgeous cozy shots of these two sweet humans! Oh and I got to see the absolutely stunning farm that Clay grew up on and his parents still own to this day. The farm that his father purchased from his grandfather years ago.
Can’t wait to share their private estate wedding in Strausstown with you very soon!
