Where do I even begin with this The Woodlands at Algonkian Wedding. I had the pleasure of photographing every special moment for Marlene and Erik’s stunning Virginia fall wedding and I’m so glad they trusted me to do so. From beginning to end, every detail was planned perfectly, every moment was full of true love. Marlene and Erik wrote their own wedding vows that were so personal and unique to their own relationship. Detailing their love and commitment to each other, talking about nicknames they have for each other and how Marlene now gets to call Erik her husband. They both knew God put them in the elevator to meet for the first time and that they were meant to be. There was not a dry eye in the crowd. Family, friends, photographers, videographers… Marlene and Erik, you had us all crying. But the special didn’t moments stop there! These two really took things up a notch during their reception when they both each had special choreographed dances with their parents. Marlene and her dad started slowly but it quickly changed paced and broke into a really fun dance. Erik and his mom surprised us all when the followed suite and did the same! I’ll be honest, I’m not the best dancer in the world, BUT when you have a room full of guests breaking it down to old school songs, I promise you will see me dancing on the sidelines as well! Just a fun little fact about having Sam along at your wedding.

To Marlene and Erik, thank you for hand picking the most beautiful November 7th wedding. We were blessed with blue skies and lots of sun. I hope you had the best day ever, surrounded by your family and friends. You two deserve all the happiness in the world. I’m smiling a little bigger after tonight, just because I know you’re officially married. – Sam
