You never know what the energy of family and the bridal party will be when you arrive for the day. We were so blessed to find that everyone in the Tusculum Farm B&B that afternoon was very relaxed. All bouquets and boutonnieres were accounted for, the bridal party looked amazing in their attire, Joe was looking sharp in his three piece grey suit and then there was Erin. When we first arrived, she was in a silk and lace white robe. Her make up was flawless. She was gorgeous, but once she put her wedding dress on and put on finishing touches of jewelry… she was stunning in a totally different way! She lit up from the inside out. I could not wait to see Joe’s reaction to his beautiful bride.

All the guests were seated and their pastor (not sure if that’s the correct term for their guy – he was from Ireland, had the accent and all. He really made their ceremony vibrant) made a very special announcement, “Happy Birthday to Erin’s Grandma”. Erin’s grandmother graciously agreed to share birthday with Erin & Joe’s wedding day. The ceremony music began and with a huge smile on his face, greeting his guests Joe walked down the aisle. Followed by the bridal party and the cutest ring bearer who came barreling down the aisle as fast as he could. Finally, the moment everyone was waiting for, Erin! When I looked at Joe I could tell he was fighting emotions, but the massive smile gave way to his most prevalent emotion. As Erin’s dad escorted her down the aisle, Joe’s smile was ear to ear. Their ceremony was full of sweet little moments, Erin had her lucky charm (something old/borrowed) hanging from her wrist, the couple lighting a candle to signify coming together in marriage, reading their personal vows and finally the first kiss! Their embrace was full of love and warmth. You can tell they are meant to be and so glad we could be there to document the day!

The day didn’t end there! The reception was LIVELY! Once the best man gave Joe a hard time and maid of honor (Erin’s sister Lauren) made her heartfelt speech, it was time for Erin’s dad to speak. He wanted to help teach Joe a lesson, so he brought in the real boss… Erin’s mom! These two went back and forth, from when Erin and Joe first met, as their relationship grew and how they knew Joe was the one. Erin & Joe were surrounded by family, friends from all ages and even alpacas. Tusculum Farm was the perfect venue for their gorgeous end of summer Frederick wedding. Beautiful grounds, incredible views all afternoon and the best part; such an enthusiastic group of guests! Their DJ did an awesome job keeping everyone entertained all night. The dance floor was full of energy until the very LAST SONG!! It was an absolutely gorgeous Tusculum Farms Wedding!
