It’s always a wonderful time when Elise from WinniE’s Bakery and I spend time together photographing her creations. She’s a dear friend, so we laugh, we goof off, we style and we photograph. But obviously one of the best parts is the aftermath when we get to eat her creations!! Our most recent shoot featured her summer toast recipes…yeah I know I’m a little late in sharing…sorry guys! But I’ll reshare these come summer so you can make them when the produce is in season. But if you happen upon this produce and can make them now, I promise you won’t be disappointed. Every last one of these toasts was scrumptious, but my absolute favorite to eat was the beet & pumpernickel toast. The combination of the caramelized onions, soft ricotta cheese and sweet crisp bite of the beets just made my soul super happy!! However, my favorite to photograph was the avocado and watermelon radish toast – I mean look at it…it’s just gorgeous! Those bright green and pinks!! Ah! So gorgeous!!
