We stood in the grass almost at the end of the Peninsula for Lizzy and Brandon’s Black Walnut Point Inn Wedding. The wind whipped around us, waves lapped on the rocky shore behind us. Lizzy veil blew in the wind. A groomsman stood in between Lizzy and Brandon, in front of their 250 guests. He was asked to do a reading. A reading of his choosing…he stood there in his formal black tux and started to read in a dead tone…

As he read, we all began to catch onto the lyrics and the rhythm. Soon the entire bridal party was singing along with him, jamming out and the guests joined in. First Date by Blink 182 means a lot to Lizzy and Brandon. They’re huge fans of the band and so it felt like a natural choice for him to read. A very comical one as well! Lizzy and Brandon’s Black Walnut Point Inn Wedding was full of little moments like that. The entire day, well the entire week really was devoted to them. Their family and friends flew in for a week long vacation stay at their getting ready house near the Inn. They went on boat rides, went swimming and so much more. As Lizzy said, it was really an incredible week with the absolute best way to end it, their wedding!
An incredible team came together for their wedding and created one of the most gorgeous days for these two incredible humans! Lizzy and Brandon, congratulations! Thank you so much for trusting me and my team to capture this day for you. Here’s to a lifetime of love and happiness and I truly hope, “This night lasts forever!”
