Meg had originally envisioned and we had planned for Christmas tree farm engagement portraits. However, when looking at the weather and being that Meg works in a hospital setting, we decided intimate at home engagement portraits might be a better idea. To stick with the Christmas theme, Meg pulled in some of her and Tyler’s favorite Christmas traditions. We baked some gingerbread cookies (ok, they got a little bit more toasty than normal cause we weren’t paying as close attention to them), we decorated the Christmas tree, enjoyed some snuggles on the couch and Meg drank coffee while Tyler pretended too. Apparently Tyler doesn’t do coffee, instead he does diet coke. It was a perfect representation of them and their relationship which is EXACTLY what engagement portraits are supposed to be. One of the reasons for engagement portraits is to celebrate the two of you during this fun and exciting season in your relationship.
Meg and Tyler, thank you so much for inviting me over for all the Christmas celebrating! It was an absolute blast. I can not wait for your wedding this year!! Congratulations and of course, Merry Christmas!
