Lisa and Jimmie had been engaged for some time. Their brand new home construction was just finishing when they decided that upon completion they wanted to have a housewarming party. Then the thought, “why not get married?” came across their minds. So the housewarming party turned into an elopement with their closest family members and was followed up with a Backyard Maryland Elopement. Full of all of their friends from over the years, really good food, yard games, and some dancing! Lisa asked me to be there to capture the big stuff and of course capture their friends and family celebrating with them! The weather was absolutely perfect for an outdoor affair such as this one. Warm sun, light breeze, and comfortable temperatures blessed their wedding day. Their ceremony was short, sweet and to the point but full of Lisa and Jimmie’s sweet personalities. I’d have to say though my absolute favorite moment from the day, was when Jimmie choose their first dance. He talked about how when he hears this song, he thinks of Lisa. He walked over to her and the two just held each other with tears running down their cheeks. Lisa and Jimmie, may your lives be as blessed, beautiful and downright fun as your wedding day was! Congratulations!!
