Kelly was on a softball team with a group of girls. It was the Spring of 2015 and the team realized they needed some more players, enter Travis. At first, he was just a teammate, nothing more. That was until they crossed paths again at an Orioles game. At the game, things changed. Kelly actually saw Travis as more. A lot more. This time she thought, “he’s really cute and incredibly easy to talk too”. Being an introvert, she felt as ease with Travis. She quickly realized she had a crush on this guy and pushed her friends to text him to set up another time for them to hang out. Fast forward a few years. They planned a trip to Charleston for their 30th birthdays and on the day they arrived, they had plans for a fancy dinner out. Travis got a little weird while getting ready and Kelly started to get a bit of a feeling. They left an entire hour and half early for their dinner reservations, so they could “go walk around”. They arrived at Philadelphia Alley where a photographer was on the phone “pretending to help a lost couple”, Kelly knew this was it. Travis pulled her in front of the camera, got down on one knee and popped the question! I met Kelly and Travis for their Engagement Session in Fell’s Point last fall. I’ve known Kelly since high school but it was great to meet Travis finally! Just like Kelly felt when they met again at the Orioles game, I would totally agree that Travis is incredibly sweet and easy to talk too. We wandered around Fell’s Point with Kelly’s sister and their dog, Kota. If you’ve never heard me say it before, let me remind you – if you have a dog, BRING THEM! Kota (as all dogs) was a good time and such a perfect little model!
