Hannah woke up not feeling well and spent the first few hours of the day getting sick. They were supposed to be spend the day climbing up to Machu Picchu but it was looking like that wasn’t going to happen with the way Hannah was feeling. She managed to muster the strength to go on a walking tour with their tour guide, who even showed her a spot to take a mid tour nap cause she was feeling so terrible. When it came time to use their pre-bought tickets to climb the mountain, Hannah just couldn’t find the strength. Their friend, Brandon, who was traveling to Peru with them, knew of Sean’s plans for the top of the mountain and managed to somehow convince Hannah that if she climbed the mountain and touched the stones, she would receive “special energy” from the Incans. As Hannah said “I think I was so exhausted and delirious that I went with it.” Fortunately, their tour guide showed them a Plan B and instead they climb only 15 minutes up another mountain that overlooked Machu Picchu. They arrived at the top and Hannah immediately found a rock to rest on. Sean asked if Hannah was ok, and when she said yes, he got down on one knee and said “Good because I have to ask you a question”.

Back in November, I met Hannah and Sean for their sunrise Federal Hill Engagement Portraits. Of course, we dreamed of a warm sunny session. But alas, the weather gods had a plan b for us. It was freezing and the sun hid the entire time. But these two took it with stride and rocked it. They took advantage of the cold and used it to force them into some even tighter snuggles that resulted that very sweet portraits of the two of them.

Now, were a month shy of what was supposed to be their scheduled wedding, April 25th. But we all know now, that as we all shelter in place, they are one of the couples greatly affected by everything. Right now, Hannah & Sean are about to climb Plan B. Fortunately though, Plan B has already worked out really well for them. So I know for a fact, that the end of June will be just as perfect.
