As we finished up our family portraits at Lake Elkhorn, we stood at the boardwalk and saw another photographer who was waiting on her clients. Lincoln walked over to her, after spending the last hour telling me “no, I don’t want to do that.” and he cozied right up to her. We joked that was now ready to take photos with her. Despite his three year old, unwillingness for portraits, we did get some really great adorable shots. We rolled down the hill. We met Patches, a sweet pit bull. We played with sticks. We talked about Octonauts, and the lake and just caught up on life since the last time I saw the Kamin family last year. I’ve been photographing Courtney and John since their engagement years ago and have had the honor of photographing Lincoln, since he was in the womb.
Thank you guys for once again trusting me with your portraits. It was so good to see you guys! I love our catchup sessions and spending the afternoon with you. Look forward to seeing you guys again later this year!
