2018’s Weddings were made up of 17 weddings (one of them requested that their images weren’t shared publicly) and two elopements. We photographed weddings in Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, and Virginia! Lots of love and lots of really amazing couples and so many great stories. Get ready for a long post of my Favorite Wedding Images From 2018! It really was hard to narrow these down to my absolute favorites but I think I did an ok job of recapping each wedding and their best of the best highlights. You’ll notice a lot of these couples were in the Favorite Engagement Images of 2018 from the other day. We did a lot of engagements and weddings in the same year! So let’s get this started!

Miranda and Shaun was our first wedding of the year! They were married at Overhills Mansion in March. It was a blistering cold day with a stunning Star Wars theme. Check out their full post here.

Eunbi and Austin brought me all the way up to New York City for their wedding! I couldn’t love them more for that!! I’ve been dreaming of a New York Wedding for years and they finally let me check that off my wish list. I hope to check it a few more times though. Their wedding images feature a full New York City tour and a first look at Grand Central Terminal. Their ceremony and reception took place at the Sunset Terrace at Chelsea Piers. Katelyn and Nick had a very very wet wedding day! Their Celebrations At The Bay Wedding was supposed to be outdoors on the lawn overlooking the water but sadly that rain storm came through and forced us indoors. However, it was still a gorgeous day full of Jewish traditions and lots of partying. See their full wedding here.

Kristin and Marc had a small intimate wedding at Big Pipe Creek Park. After dating since high school, they decided it was time to tie the knot. See their full wedding here.

Lauren and John eloped at the Howard County Courthouse and asked me to meet them afterward to grab some wedding day portraits of them. We met at one of my favorite secret Ellicott City spots for these whimsical woodland wedding portraits. See more of their portraits here.

These two stole my heart from the moment we met for their engagement portraits in 2017, so photographing their wedding was just a dream. Add on top of that that they were married at the same venue I was married at and they’ll always hold a special place in my heart. Maura and Candice were married at The Lodges At Gettysburg in June. I’ve been friends with Kyle since 5th grade. That’s like 20 years of friendship, which is just crazy talk, that were old enough for that! But anyways, when he and Julie asked me to photograph their wedding & be a guest, I was so honored! I’ll be honest, I’d prefer to be the photographer over being a guest for most friends weddings. Why? Because I get to spend more time with you. As a guest, we might say hi and that’ll be it. But as your photographer, I’ll spend the whole day with you. Lauren and Mike’s Ceresville Mansion wedding fell on an extremely rainy day. But to be honest, what stands out most from their wedding day was their reception. Talk about a party! They had told their DJ they wanted their reception to feel like they were at the club and Chris Styles Events didn’t disappoint. To see their full wedding, click here.

Sally and Kevin’s Torpedo Factory Wedding was a dream to photograph. From start to finish the entire was perfection. The two of them are a dream to work with. They put together the all-star team of vendors, their details were gorgeous, the timeline ran perfectly. It was just a dream of a wedding day. See their full day here.

Jillian and Joe’s Four Seasons Wedding fell on the most gorgeous summer day! It was an amazing 70-degree day, bright sunny weather. But one of my favorite things about the day was how Joe looked and talked about Jillian. He just adores that woman and I can’t blame him, she’s pretty spectacular. See their full wedding here.

Karen and Mark choose a very small and intimate ceremony at The Lutheran Church of St. Andrew. They asked me to be there to capture the ceremony and then they headed to a restaurant with their closest friends and family to celebrate.  See the ceremony here.

There seems to be a theme happening here, Jordyn and Mikey’s wedding day fell on a very rainy day! So they decided to stay dry and we kept their portraits all indoors but fortunately, Hotel Monaco offers so many gorgeous indoor spots for portraits. Sarah and Bryan were married at The Barn At Serra Valley Farms. Their focus for the wedding day was each other and celebrating with friends and family while staying on a very tight budget. They kept to all those goals and Sarah created a gorgeous detail filled wedding despite her tight budget. Check out their full wedding here.

Nicky and Matt’s October Kurtz’s Beach Wedding was stunning. The weather was perfection, cool and comfortable and their sunset portraits are some of my absolute favorites. They had originally planned to elope to Jamaica but decided to stay here and celebrate their marriage with friends and family and I’m so glad they did so that I was able to work with them because I absolutely love them! Lisa and Jimmie choose to have an intimate ceremony of only family at their brand new home in Pasadena followed by a party of all their friends in the backyard. It was gorgeous October afternoon! See their full elopement here.

Rachael and Billy asked me to come up to the Poconos for their October wedding at the Shawnee Inn. To this day it might be one of my absolute favorites. Rachael is so detail focused that everything was planned perfectly. Yet the moments of pure joy and all the special family traditions and touches stood out the most. From wearing two wedding dresses – one being the same dress her mother wore and her grandmother wore, to getting cufflinks made for her dad that had pieces of the lace from that dress in them. Megan and Matt helped me check off another wedding dream list item – photographing a wedding at Belmont Manor. This stunning venue in Elkridge has been on my list since I started my business. Their wedding was a few weekends before Halloween, which is a favorite of Megan’s and I love how she incorporated some Halloween details into the day. See their full wedding here.

Kelli and Nick were my last wedding of the year and it was an amazing way to end the year. Their Herrington on the Bay Wedding was supposed to be full of rain but instead, it was blessed with clear skies until everyone was inside partying. My favorite part of the day was when all the bridesmaids iced the groomsman right before the first dance! Such a great way to get the party started! See their full wedding here.
