Every year, for 3 years now, we meet up in August & December – August for Vivienne’s birthday pictures & December for Vincent’s birthday pictures. Most pictures were taken at the house and so this year we decided to change it up, we headed to the Howard County Fair! It’s so wonderful to become friends with your clients, honestly, the 3 hours we spent wandering around the fair didn’t at all feel like work. I was hanging out with old friends – a family I’ve been with from the beginning. The beginning of my business & the beginning of their little family. The fair was a blast! We checked out the adorable animals – especially those cute little piggies!
So it’s true, goats enjoy eating fabric! Viv learned all about it when we met this little kid – fortunately she was able to save her dress and get it back in one piece!! It was very comical though!
Plenty of fair food was tried, tested and very much approved! Corn dogs, kettle corn…and just wait for it later…first time with some funnel cake!!
A lesson we learned – ALWAYS watch a ride before you get on it, especially with kids. We got on this kid ride that had Kim & I freaked out. The original plan was for me to grab some photos of the kiddos riding the ride of course, however, the ride had me so nervous that I was going to fall out that I had a death grip on my camera gear! This quick shot as the ride was just beginning captures the event perfectly honestly…except this one is minus the tears…
I think it’s safe to say, Viv had an awesome 3rd birthday & is a big fan of the fair but even more so funnel cake!!
