Caitlin and Linden’s first step took place in on a frigid cold day in November, their Liriodendron Mansion Wedding, while cold was blessed with a beautiful sunset that casted the most perfect light onto their couple portraits. I’ve known Caitlin for about eight years now, we met in college when we both studied abroad in Italy. Since then I’ve taken Caitlin’s pictures three times, so when she emailed me about photographing her wedding, I was super excited! She and Linden had originally planned to have a destination wedding or even thought about eloping, but decided to stay home and have all their closest family and friends attend. They kept it small and intimate and beautiful – a perfect compromise to an elopement.
