After a couple books with me, I send over a questionnaire. A way for me to get to know the heart behind them, their vision for their engagement portraits and the most important question, “What is the most important thing to you about your wedding photography?”. When I received Christine and Anthony’s questionnaire back, I learned quite a lot about them. One, that basically Christine and I are one in the same person when it comes to taste in food. Two, these two are head over heels in love with each other. Three, that to them, one of the most important things about their wedding photography was for “people to see photos of me and Anthony and say ‘wow, they love each other the most….. and damn, they look good.” Of course, they also wanted their Rye Street Tavern Wedding portraits to remember the details, the sweet and private moments and as Anthony said “Life’s a party, that’s how I want to document it (sprinkled with tender moments)!” I have to say, I think we were able to provide them with all of that! But honestly, it’s only because they set the tone for it. Christine is such a detail focused person. So naturally she focused largely on the styled details of her wedding day and created a classy timeless look for her wedding. That focus to detail also allowed for all the moments to be captured, we built in plenty of time into their timeline for portraits of everyone and time to capture the little details but also plenty of time for tender moments to happen. Working with Christine and Anthony on their November 2019 Rye Street Tavern Wedding was definitely a favorite of mine! I am so excited to share this wedding with you all – especially Anthony’s groom’s tribe! Yes, his whole party was made up of his best women dressed in black tuxes! Can you talk about style?!
