I’ve only had the pleasure of meeting and working with Ann of Anny Photography, twice now. But honestly, she feels like such an old friend. Not to mention, she’s amazing to work with! I feel so blessed that not only once but now twice she has given me the opportunity to work with her. Especially on such an important day as Lynn & Darren’s wedding.

You see Lynn isn’t just a client. Lynn is Ann’s sister-in-law. Lynn is the little sister of Ann’s hubby. (who I also got to meet and is pretty awesome himself. i mean you’d have to be for Ann to marry you) So when Ann needed a second shooter for such an important and special day in the life of her family, and she asked me to be that help! I couldn’t have felt more honored.

The day was PERFECT! It was so sunny and warm and so full of love!

Lynn & Darren decided to have a “first look”. I highly recommend them to every couple. They’re just so much fun!! And Lynn & Darren had fun with it! Such a perfect, perfect first look!

The ceremony was held at the University of Maryland Chapel. And oh my gosh, the ceremony–beyond gorgeous! It brought tears to my eyes. The service began with two songs that the congregation sang, “10,000 Reasons” and I’m blanking on the other one. It was so beautiful, that I decided we had to sing during our ceremony–I want my guests to walk away from my ceremony with the same feelings of worship and love that I walked away with from Lynn & Darren’s.

Lynn & Darren are a couple of faith. Clearly, open, honest, strong faith. Something I strongly admire in them. They met just right before Darren left for an 11 month mission trip around the world and Lynn left for a 3 month mission trip. But throughout those very long months, they stayed in contact and fell in love. Something only God and faith in Him can ordain, bless and make happen. So to hear about their faith and to experience it all day was such an inspiration.

The day continued with a party at Maggiano’s. Talk about some amazing food! But more importantly an awesome party to celebrate a wonderful couple!

Thanks for letting me be apart of such an important day in your life. Congrats!!!

If you wanna see more pictures from the day, head over to Ann’s blog to check them out 🙂
