“Today is a beautifully sunny day. Not because the sun is poking through the gloomy overcast sky. No, today is sunny because of the love between Mike and Emma.” Mike’s father stood on the stone laid patio under a beautiful pergola. The outdoor string lights above his head softly lit the space. He stood overlooking the u shaped table set up where the newlywed Mike and Emma sat with their closest family and friends. He spoke just a minute longer before toasting to his son and new daughter in law. Emma and Mike were married on an cool September evening. Their Private Estate Annapolis Wedding was cut down and split between two dates, this years original date was held, planned and organized by their parents, siblings, nieces, nephews and closest six friends. Next years new date will host the original plans of a big tent and a huge party to celebrate their wedded bliss!

Mike’s reaction as Emma walked around the side of the house and came into view, is one that can only be described as a little school girl cheering. It was honestly the sweetest, most genuine reaction.  His face lit up as he clapped his hands and said under his breath, she’s beautiful. Their day revolved around family and friends, and of course their sweet fur baby. Having Hattie present at the ceremony was one of the sweetest moments thus far. She ran in right before they said their vows and cozied herself right up around their feet. She’s definitely at home with her people.

Mike and Emma, Congratulations! Thank you for constantly spoiling me every time together and for being so comfortable to hang out with. Thank you for asking me to be the one to capture not just one but two of your wedding days. I can’t wait for next year!
