Sam discussed with Taylor and Sean rescheduling their engagement portraits at the Howard County Conservancy but ultimately the three of them decided to just go for it! To risk the rain and see what would happened and I think we can all agree, Taylor and Sean’s Rainy Howard County Conservancy Engagement Portraits are even more romantic because of the rain. When we asked Taylor to tell us the proposal story, she said, “Long story short of the Nancy Drew saga, he tricked me into believing he was in Florida for Thanksgiving. After I had dropped him off at the airport my best friend was right behind me picking him back up and bringing him to my parents house where close friends and family were waiting for me when I got back. To stall me, he had my aunt (perfect fit for the job) spend an excessive amount of time at the grocery store the day before thanksgiving comparing breads, mask patterns, types of cranberry sauces, etc. By the time I made it to my moms house I was basically sprinting up the driveway to get to a glass of wine, which is why I still had all groceries in hand and mask on running through the door when I saw the hallway lined with candles and rose pedals leading to my parents back porch.” Well as we all can tell, obviously Taylor said yes! Which is why we’re all anticipating and excited to be celebrating their Tusculum Farms Wedding tomorrow with them. All fingers and toes are crossed though that their wedding day won’t be rained on like their engagement portraits are. However, if it is, they do say it’s good luck! Just a bit of trivia for you, you know why they say it’s good luck for rain on your wedding day? Because a wet knot is nearly impossible to untie.
