It was a typical Saturday morning looking ahead at the day off. They decided they needed an adventure and so Gabby sat down and began searching. Everything she came across, ie going to a farm, apple picking, or a farmer’s market, was either sold out or closed. Then Mike sat down to join in the search and discovered the Rawlings Conservatory. They bought tickets and off they went. Little did Gabby know, that as soon as Mike saw this place, it was perfect. There was no doubt for him that this was the spot he wanted to get down on one knee at. So as they explored the stunning gardens, Mike searched for the absolute best spot. They were tucked back in a corner outside as the sun shined down on them. They were discussing their relationship and all the wonderfulness that it is when Mike kneeled down and popped the question. As Gabby says, “It was perfect! We had all the privacy we wanted and needed in the moment. But then we realized almost immediately after that absolutely no one saw and we wanted to yell it from the rooftops but there was no one to celebrate in the quick little moment with.” So when the two of them were planning their engagement portraits with Sam, there was no doubt they had to have some Rawlings Conservatory Engagement Portraits.
They showed up to their January Rawlings Conservatory Engagement Portraits, in style and as Sam said, “so incredibly adorable with each other too!” They explored the gardens again…mostly indoors this time with a quick run out into the cold. Gabby & Mike, you two are incredible for the camera and we can not wait for your October wedding!
