I met up with these two beauties at Patapsco State Park. Miss. Regan is two and quite the little model, when she wants to be that is. Miss. Haley is about 6 months and just stinkin’ adorable.
I usually will start a session with a little kid that I’ve never photographed before by showing them my camera–it helps get them comfortable with it. I mean having this big huge black box in your face that makes some weird clicking noise can sometimes make some kids nervous, so getting to explore it typically calms those nerves and do much better during the shoot. So when we started, I showed Regan the camera. Well–it kinda backfired. She LOVED the camera–and when I say she loved it…I mean she much more preferred to be in front of the camera, right in front of it pushing the button. “Push the button. Push the button.” We’d sit her down for a shot and before I could get back into position to take her picture-she was back up again running over to me to push the button. Not going to lie, I found it adorable. I think I may have created a little photographer–apparently that night all she could talk about was pushing the button.
But once we got past, pushing the button, we got to see her do her modeling. Talk about some gorgeous little girls. Both of them! Just S.T.U.N.N.I.N.G.
And then put them in those tutu dresses…and you have got some serious princesses!
