Things go by so quickly. From engagement, to wedding planning and then the wedding. You may have a few years of quiet, or you jump right into building a family together. Then it’s busy all over again. I love being able to be a part of these monumental moments in a family’s life. Wedding clients have become family and newborn clients, and it’s so special. These Rockburn Branch Park 1st birthday portraits were so fun! 

My awesome associate Sam took the lead on this celebration session. Leighton is the sweetest little girl and was so much fun to work with during the session. Sam was able to get some really precious moments, even if Leighton wasn’t too happy the whole time. She was not a big fan of the cake smash, but that was totally okay! These Rockburn Branch Park 1st birthday portraits were perfect. 

Don’t let the idea of things not going ‘picture perfect’ deter you from taking the photos! Although Leighton wasn’t a huge fan of getting dirty, she rocked her session! A first birthday can be seen as such a sad moment for parents as their baby is growing up. However, this session was full of fun, laughter, and looking forward to the incredible future. Leighton is a strong and beautiful little girl who is going to take on the world and do incredible things.
