This was a first for me for a two reasons. This was the first baptism I’ve photographed and it was my first Catholic baptism that I’ve been to. I’m so glad it was for this amazing family. I can’t believe Aria is one already and time for her baptism. St. Leo the Great Roman Catholic Church in Baltimore is a gorgeous church.
Hannah had Aria’s baptism dress made out of Hannah’s wedding dress. Love it!!
Catholic baptisms are held separate of a church service and so we met on a Saturday afternoon, a small intimate only family affair.
She wasn’t a huge fan of the having the water on her head.
After the service, we headed back to the house for a celebration! We had our first birthday cake and Grandpa had his 70th birthday cake!
Franklin <3 love this guy!
We weren’t too sure about the cake at first, our first time seeing one, touching one and tasting artificial sugar…it’s a new experience…
But after some skepticism…we had no problem jumping in there!
A girl after my own heart.
Seriously, a girl after my own heart. A huge fit when the cake was taken away. Girl loves her sweets!
Then it was time to grab some pictures of the star of the show. She’s so stinkin cute!
And back to the party!
