They wanted a simple intimate ceremony followed by a celebration dinner. So that was exactly what Karen & Mark’s Luther Church of St. Andrew Wedding looked like. A ceremony at the church where they met surrounded by their closest family and friends. They asked me to be there to capture the really important pieces of their evening, family formals, portraits of them and the ceremony. As we walked outside for portraits, a strike of lighting came down & a giant gust of wind blew through the trees. Karen’s response? A loud “Yahoo!! Bring on the rain! You know they say it’s good luck on your wedding day!” Fortunately, that rain held off long enough to grab some those family formals and their portraits! There’s something so wonderful about an intimate wedding, it really lets the marriage outshine stress of details of a wedding day. Congratulations Mark & Karen!!
