I first met Emily and Rob at Alysia & Costin’s Wedding, she was one of Alysia’s bridesmaids. Flash forward a few years and Emily reaches out to me. She knew the ring was coming soon and knew I had to be her wedding photographer so knowing what she wanted, she was starting to get ahead of the planning process (setting budgets and such you know). Oh, how I absolutely love a girl whose organized and knows what she wants!! Rob got down on one knee at sunrise on the beach the morning of Emily’s birthday. I mean, does it get any better?! Almost immediately I got the booking email from Emily and we got their engagement portraits on the calendar. They met and started dating at the University of Maryland during their junior year. So when selecting their engagement portraits location, it only made sense to go back to the spot they first met! I’ve been to College Park multiple times before. A few times to hang out and a few times to photograph some weddings but I have never seen it like this. The way the sun was kissing the grounds of the gorgeous campus and the different locations Emily picked out was seriously a photographers heaven!! Then these two were just pros at the whole modeling business and just absolutely adorable together. The entire evening was perfect.
