The morning was crisp and cool, a layer of dew laid on the grass and fog rolled in blocking the far off distant views of the mountain scene. It was September 14th, the boy’s 1st birthday and it also just happened to be the day that worked for all of our schedules so we headed out to the end of their road and grabbed the boys first birthday portraits. Their birth story is one full of miracles & one that is looked back on with a lot of emotion. As Bethany said, today we’ve decided to change the feeling of this day. To rewrite it’s history and to forever look at this day as a day of miracles and good. Not of stress and fear as we had a year ago. So we celebrated with portraits. Then they continued the celebration with a “traditional 80’s” birthday party as Bethany kept calling it! You know with party hats, sheet cake and balloons. Happy Birthday Boys, here’s to many many years of traditional 80’s Birthday Parties and 80’s adventures!!
