He’s rock music and tattoos. She’s country music and manicures. They’re complete opposites. Opposites that she says she never thought would’ve been anything more than just really great friends. The funny thing about really great friends is that when they’re friends who you can be completely vulnerable with, someone you can spend hours talking to – no dislike of country music will ever come between that. Instead, love grows out of it.
After a few years of friendship, Jon said “I like you”. It completely went over Shannon’s head. “Yeah I like you too.” He then had to further explain that, no he likes her likes her. He wants to take her on a date likes her. And as they say, the rest, the rest is history.
Their Windsor Mill wedding was a total reflection of them. A backyard country bbq catered by Jon’s step dad. It was a party from the start and even after the reception ended they went onto an after party.
It was a pleasure to be there for your wedding! Congrats you two love birds!!
Shannon really wanted a shot of her daughter, Taylor in her wedding dress. Such a sweet memory to pull out down the road, especially when it’s Taylor’s turn to get married.
Thanks to my awesome 2nd shooter – Christine for grabbing the shots of the guys!
What a better way to arrive to your wedding than in an RV!
Seeing his bride walk down the aisle!
I love this idea of having the bridal party lay their hands on the couple and bless their marriage.
They of course completely ROCKED their portraits – just like they did during their engagement shoot! 🙂
Instead of a father daughter dance, Shannon’s dad wrote her a song. He played while his friend sang the song for him. Seriously, not a dry eye in the whole place!
