At the beginning of the year, I posted on a local photographer Facebook group asking for second shooters for the dates that Christine wasn’t able to make. Of course I got a whole slew of responses on the post but then I got an individual Facebook message from this awesome girl here! She was in the middle of a website upgrade and so she wasn’t able to show me that but she sent over a few galleries. There was just something about her. This intuition that I didn’t need to look at any of the other names. So we decided to meet for dinner to meet in person before officially booking a wedding. We sat at the table in Grilled Cheese & Co for a good two hours just talking. It was an instant friendship. Complete comfort. Like we’ve known each other for years. Then she assisted me on a wedding – and it really was meant to be! This girl knows exactly what I need when I need it!! So for some of you this year, you’ll be seeing this beautiful face as she helps me photograph your wedding.

Anyways, onto the reason for these images…I asked Megan to grab some shots of my family and so I offered that we swap and I do some pictures of her and her boyfriend at the time (fun fact, they just got engaged on Christmas Eve!!!) They live in this fixer up of an adorable 1800’s house on a big ol plot of land. Some absolutely dream worthy type land, so we just stayed there and grabbed their photos there. The sunlight was perfection. & these two are adorable! Megan kept saying “I’m going to kiss him now” and then go in for a kiss. Seriously love this girl!
