In 2007 Corporal Scott Wheeler of the Howard County Police Department was tragically killed in the line of duty. To honor him, in 2008 his friends, family and co-workers established the Scott Wheeler 5051 Foundation to provide support and assistance to those who have suffered traumatic loss or injury. This year the fourth Scott Wheeler 5051 Push Pull Competition was held at the Colosseum Gym in Columbia.

The fundraiser allows police officers and civilians alike to step forward and compete against each other in a weight lifting competition. All money raised goes toward supporting the foundation as they help those suffering from loss.

Family, friends and co-workers were there to cheer on their competitors. There was a moon-bounce for the kids-of course they LOVED it! The awesome team at Mission BBQ donated lunch and all money raised from the sales of a plate went right back to the foundation.

The competition was a success and I was so honored that I was able to be there to document such an awesome event while supporting an incredible foundation!
